Project role and skills:
Ana Batrićević, PhD, senior research associate, focuses her research on the resocialization of convicted persons, especially through work with animals, as well as on the protection of human rights, animals and the environment, and complements them with documentary photography. It is precisely the documentary-photographic approach that makes her field research work unique since through photography she brings the subject of research closer not only to experts but also to the general public and enables it to be seen creatively.
At the PrisonLIFE project, Ana participates in the research of different segments of the characteristics of the quality of prison life. She is also involved in project promotion activities, primarily on social networks. In addition, she is in charge of producing documentary and artistic photographs that aim to show various aspects of prison life and thus bring the key problems, challenges and changes in this area closer to the public.
