Project role and skills:
Milena Milićević, PhD, research associate, has introduced the concept of family quality of life, social inclusion and participation of vulnerable groups and culturally and linguistically adapted and implemented numerous innovative instruments. With her latest research in the personal characteristics of a population of convicted persons, she will make a strong contribution to successful project implementation. With her pioneering, authentic and diverse research work, she has achieved outstanding results, reflected in scientific papers in international and national journals. She is a member of numerous councils and associations and has extensive professional skills crucial for understanding and interpreting research findings. She is the co-editor of the Journal of the Institute of Criminological and Sociological Research.
As head of the PrisonLIFE project team, Milena will manage and coordinate the project. Additionally, she leads the cultural adaptation and development of the MQPL in Serbian. She is involved in the evaluation of possibilities for improving the quality of prison life of convicted persons, especially of female convicts in Serbia. She leads sub-activities dedicated to testing the content validity of MQPL and the association between quality of prison life and subjective well-being. Milena will produce podcasts devoted to the project.
