Project role and skills:

As the leader of the PrisonLIFE project team, Milena Milićević contributes to the project with her expertise in social integration, participation, and the quality of life for marginalized and vulnerable groups, as well as in the assessment, monitoring, and measurement of these constructs. Possessing broad professional skills crucial for understanding and interpreting research findings, her pioneering research in these areas has resulted in publications in international and national journals. Additionally, she is a co-editor for a national journal, Journal of the Institute of Criminological and Sociological Research.

In addition to leading and coordinating the PrisonLIFE project, Milena Milićević oversees the cultural adaptation and development of the MQPL scale in the Serbian language. She participates in testing the content validity of the MQPL scale in Serbian and investigates the quality of prison life for the general prison population and the population of female convicts in Serbia, exploring the correlation between the quality of prison life, the subjective well-being, and the welfare of the convicted individuals. Furthermore, she is responsible for producing a series of podcast episodes.
