Project role and skills:
As an expert in personality psychology and psychological assessment, Nikola Drndarević, MA, junior research assistant, will transfer his knowledge and experience in designing semi-structured protocols and interviews, conducting focus groups with vulnerable populations and marginalized groups, and assessing, calculating and interpreting psychometric properties. Nikola Drndarević is in charge of preliminary analyzes of relevant data on socio-demographic, criminological and penological characteristics of convicted persons and is involved in final statistical analyzes. His skills and knowledge of many statistical methods and their application in various fields, experience in the processing of different data and interpretation of findings and writing scientific papers, are necessary for quality, timely and successful implementation of the project as a whole.
As a member of the PrisonLIFE project team, Nikola Drndarević is involved in the cultural adaptation and development of the MQPL survey in Serbian, in the evaluation of its psychometric properties and validation, as well as in preliminary evaluations through focus groups and final adaptation. Within the exploratory and comparative study of the PrisonLIFE project, Nikola Drndarević explores the relationship between quality of prison life, the Dark Triad and coping styles, relationships between coping styles, quality of prison life, self-esteem, aggression and depression, as well as tests various complex models using structural modelling analysis. Nikola Drndarević is involved in different project promotion activities, primarily social media promotions, and is in charge of monitoring the visibility of the project.
